Yes, I’m still playing around with the cards!

After the last lot were done, I finally got around to buying a printer to test out the size and alignment of the elements as it felt that some of the text was too small or likely to be unreadable on the black background. Turns out I was right! A bit more fiddling and I think this size now works.

As the next test I’ve been through and created cards for all of the Goblin entries in the original monster tables. It appears that they are fairly limited though so I need to spend some time fleshing out the entries a bit to allow for more interesting dungeons so it’s not “Goblin boss + 12 spears” all the time! I never realised quite how few entries ever used squigs, fanatics or shaman. The answer to each of those… is once! This needs to be amended…

On the plus side, I do now have enough cards to deal with a Night Goblin specific level 1 dungeon, so I can take a proper look at the bestiary entries and look at some AI elements .

[Update] Looks like I spoke too soon. Trying to put the Events onto the same size cards is… difficult to say the least as the body text ends up almost unreadable, even for short ones like Cave In! as written in the Roleplay book. Not sure I fancy rewriting every event to fit onto cards…
