Quest!

I was quite pleased to find today that Shieldice studio has opened a Patreon. Shieldice have run a couple of kickstarters over the last few years that have produced three amazing sets of books that help you with worldbuilding, using a deck of cards and some dice. Some of the books just cover dungeons; others taverns or entire continents. Each has some very simple steps to go through, but the end results are really interesting. The Patreon has some small additional books on it so far, including one on Potions and another on Visions/Prophecies. I’m looking forward to whatever else comes out on the Patreon as it’s fun to play with.

The plan is to start to use these tools to build my own little fantasy world that begs, borrows and steals the bits I like from fantasy stories that I like, and leaves behind the bits I don’t… which makes it easier to add in bits from AoS or other neat fantasy models that I have in my stl library from Patreons and Kickstarters…
