RedDot : Skipping levels in Navigation manager

I keep forgetting to update here when I post something RedDot related to the other blog.

Last week I wrote another navigation manager article, this time with a simple example of how to skip pages in the navigation, in preference for it’s child : http://www.reddotcmsblog.com/skipping-levels-in-the-navigation

I’m not sure what the next one will be. I guess it depends on what my next project is.

Tomorrow we will be at the Open Text day in London and next wednesday we will be at the Internet World show with e-Spirit. If you’re at either show, come and say hello :)

Gaming flashbacks…

Up until about 10 years or so ago I used to play almost all the Games Workshop games, especially Mordheim. Over time things like University and pubs got in the way… so ti all faded away.

Recently I seem to have taken up painting again as a way of having something to do in front of the TV… much to Claire’s happiness.

Years ago I used to write new articles for Mordheim and Warhammer Quest. Some even got published in the various magazines they used to put out. I actually managed to find the Mordheim stuff tonight on the great wide internet. I may have to clean them up and post them here for posterity. I miss that game and the friends I made playing it… The other one we used to play/write stuff for was Warhammer quest. I wonder if those articles are anywhere on the internet as well?

A quickcheck… and yes. Apparently they are. A big thanks to http://wquest.free.fr/ for archiving every WQ article, character, plot and adventure written. What stars!
