Adrian’s Birthday Nobz

Adrian re-started his GW hobby before I did, but has had a hard time finding time to do painting… so I decided to help him along as it’s his birthday next week. He’s started collecting Orks, but giving them a Dark Angels theme : “Da’ Ork Angels”

So what better conversion that adding actual Dark Angels bits from the Veteran sprues onto some Nobz; plus it let me try my had at Deathwing colours as well as ork skin :)

  1. I just want to say - these are awesome! And thanks of course! They are huge too - larger than the ork nob I am working on from the plastic boyz kit.

I really appreciate the effort you went to to follow the theme I am going for. The Dark Angels bits worked out better than I had imagined (and I thought I had imagined pretty good!) The paint scheme clashes a bit with my existing boyz - these guys are grittier where mine are more clean cut and cartoonish. I had been a bit worried about that previously, so I think for my next batch I’ll aim for something down the middle - which should mix well with both.

The worse thing is that its making it harder for me to put off elaborate customisations…

    Big thanks again!
