You have to start somewhere…

We’ve now been working with Reddot for a year; what a hectic year it’s been!

From day one it felt like we’d been given a Sisyphean challenge. None of the projects were given the time we would have liked, but it’s probably this pressure that’s driven our development process and given us the drive to get our projects to the state they are in today.

While waiting for the licences to be delivered we found a best practices document from http://www.nonlinear.ca (unfortunately now not on their website). This was far more valuable than anything provided in the official training as it delt with real life situations. During our trials and tribulations it became apparent that more of this sort of information was needed on the net, which is where this blog will hopefully come in handy.

For any Reddot developer, I’d also highly recommend joining the Google group as well as reading Markus Giesen’s blog on a regular basis.

  1. Hi Paul! Nice to see your blog here! Fred and I started with some nice ideas of creating a bigger platform together. I can’t find a email or contact form, so this way should work :)
What do think about it? Would you like to join us?
    best,

  2. Thanks for the reference!

If you’d like a copy of the RedDot whitepaper, just give us a shout… info@nonlinear.ca

Alternatively, we’ve also just recently published a pretty detailed best practice document for Sitecore which is definitely worth a read:
